Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are now commemorating “a scary and emotional week.” On their respective verified social media platforms, they are talking about Barker’s recent hospitalization.
In a note posted on his Instagram stories, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker explained that during his endoscopy he had “a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area” which injured a critical pancreatic drainage tube, resulting in severe life-threatening pancreatitis. The musician also thanked his family and friends for helping him through this difficult time. Barker married Caitlyn Jenner‘s daughter, Kylie Jenner, in May at an extravagant celebration in Portofino, Italy. She also shared Barker’s note on her Instastories.
“Why on God’s earth has it been such a difficult and very emotional week?” The businessperson and reality TV star wrote that she was “grateful to God for healing her husband” and “for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support.”
Kourtney Kardashian took to social media to express her gratitude for the staff at Cedars-Sinai hospital, who took “wonderful care” of her husband and herself during their stay.
