Kardashian’s new undertaking comes only one year after the release of news that KKW Beauty was no more, a change many believed was merely a precursor to a complete rebrand.
In KKK Beauty stores, the products available seem unique to Kim’s personal brand. As opposed to offering conventional makeup, Kim has sold her high-up brand as (highbrow, cutting edge) skin care.
SKKN’s line of nine beautifully formulated skin-care products focusses on new formulas that revitalise skin. Housed in architecturally inspired packaging that demands countertop space, each brand’s offerings go for under $100 ($80).
The Kim Kardashian-backed beauty brand SKKN BY KIM will hit shelves on June 21, and it’s an extension of the celebrity’s desire to understand her skin. The line comes from Kardashian, and it features three products: a gentle foaming cleanser, a hyaluronic acid serum and a nourishing night oil. The products are meant for those with skin conditions like psoriasis that affect millions of adults in the U.S.
